THE MARCHING SHOW BAND FROM THE LAND YEAR 2002 TO 2003
Who knows what this updated season will look like with PROVINE running around wild, but the only thing is will they survive or will they denied, we just have to wait and see. From this updated season what can we do to get the job done? The thing is last year was kind of slow and hopefully we can get back on the right track to that right path, we just can't worry about who that is on the other side of the field, our consern is us and each others. No matter if we lose the battle, we lost to fight another day, but the day never ended. The point is that we were brave enough to battle and we brave to fight again. I'm sick in tire of what other people say about each others band and saying who blowin who out, and I see they brag on themselves a lot I see, and no C-Way did not blow out JSU. The main people who bragging on there band mean a lot that they band ain't a banana on a stick.... sign up for blackplanet free here

By: J. Nelson

I know that everyone is happy that school is finally out. I hope that you have a great summer and that you make sure to get plenty of rest and relaxation.

As all upper-classmen know I have already began preparations for the 2002 football season. I am expecting that this upcoming year will be another exciting and successful year for the Provine Band. In order to accomplish these goals, we all must put in the necessary preparation time. Please practice your horn over the summer. I have worked out a practice schedule that will allow us to get a good start, and help us to be prepared for our first football game on August 30th against Murrah.

The following is the summer rehearsal schedule for the marching band. You are encouraged to attend all summer rehearsals. However, attendance at band camp is required.

Please understand that band T-shirts will not be ordered for students that have not paid their band dues in full. Due to past abuses of the honor system, band t-shirts, wind suits, and/or shoes will not be ordered for students making partial band dues payments. Band t-shirts will be ordered on Friday August 2, 2002. Shirts ordered after this date cannot be delivered before the first game. Wind suits, band shoes, and flag girl uniforms are not included in the band dues. These cost are in addition to regular band dues. Ours hearts go out to those who was in the Sept 11 attack. God bless them and hope american live on, memories will never be forgotten, for those who care, sign guest book below

On Tuesday, September 11, 2001 The United States of America was attacked thru a horrific act of terrorism. This cowardly act has effected American's in a way that words can not explain. The loss of so many American brothers and sisters in such a short time is just unthinkable. We will never forget! To all the victims, heroes and the families hurt by this tragedy we offer our condolences, our love and our thoughts and prayers . And to everyone around the world sharing in our grief, thank you.

I know you're celebrating what your evil deeds have wrought But with the devastation something else you've also brought For nothing is more powerful than Americans who unite Who put aside their differences and for freedom fight Each defenseless victim whose untimely death you caused And every fallen hero whose brave life was lost Has only served to strengthen our national resolve Each freedom-loving citizen will surely get involved You've galvanized our nation into a force so strong We'll end your reign of terror although the fight is long For every heart that's broken ten million will stand tall and every tear that's falling is the mortar for it all And when this war is over one thing I know is sure Our country will be greater and our freedom will endure

So do you think you can tell heaven from hell, blue skies from pain? So do you think we can change everybody that hates before it's to late? We don't need any more pain. No more losing our friends or losing ourselves.

God Bless America, Again. You see all the trouble that shes in. Wash her pretty face, dry her eyes and then God Bless America, Again. Dear God, I sure do wish youd bless America again, you know like you did way back when it all began. You blessed her then but we just sort of kind of took it for granted and never asked again. So just hold her hand god thats all, and if she should stumble please dont let her fall..

Til that endless day, life goes on and will never be forgotton, we all stand up and fight the battle that we was ready for...As time goes by many "Tears Will Dry" While yet the loss will "For Ever Remain" And all the people of this "Great Nation" Share in the "Sorrow, Grief and Pain".

When the leadership is right and the time is right, The people can always be counted upon "To Follow To The End At All Costs". ---Harold J. Seymour
