12.5" f/6 Cave Astrola
This telescope was built in January 1976 by Cave Optical in Long beach California. I fully restored the scope in 2001 and I have also made some upgrades. It is now mounted on a Parks Superior Dual Axis mount for easy guiding and I installed a  JMI DX3 electric focuser that is a must for planetary imaging. I have also added a Vixen  7x50mm illuminated Polaris finder scope and a Towa 80mm f/15 guidescope from the same era. This scope has superb optics and an amazing star test. This is also my favorite instrument.
