UST
Mountaineering Club was established by Gus Guerrero and
Vincent Christian way back in the 70's but it became
inactive after a few years. It was reestablished by
Gina Buenaflor-Ogawa in 1986. My elder brother Rey was
part of the pioneering members of the newly formed UST
Mountaineering Club. I joined the University of Santo Tomas Mountaineering Club in 1989 and stayed active up to 1991. Together with Jun Osano, we were the first UST Mountaineers to venture into various outdoor activities like Rock Climbing and Scuba Diving. |
