Mt. Banahaw The Holy Mountain

Considered a holy mountain by Filipinos, it became a very popular destination for pilgrims during the Holy week.  It prompted mountaineers all over Luzon to conduct vigil during this season to maintain cleanliness and safety of the pilgrims.

I was invited by the PNB Mountaineers to teach the members on proper rappelling. After the formal course, they invited me to join them at the climb itself.  I gladly accepted and was assigned the position of 'Sweeper'.
