THE LAST WORD
by Erick Smith
Today's column is a bit different then any other I have written. Not only will it probably be my last, but it is written with much sorrow. You wont find any pictures or graphics in here today, just my random thoughts and feelings on the end.

Yes, we must unfortunately accept the truth that RollerJam is in all likelihood a done deal. Rumors are flying about RollerJam being shopped around but at this point you have to realize that the shows former predecessor ECW is still looking for a home, and has been since it left the beleagured Friday night thrill zone months ago. Bad karma? Maybe. Bad reputation? Maybe. Of course I'm talking about TNN and not ECW. Its going to be very hard to find a new home for our show, and even if it does happen, I wouldnt expect too much at this point.

So now we are left with some last words. First I want to take this moment to say to the skaters, the talent, the producers, the directors, the people that worked behind the scenes, THANK YOU! Thank you for the dedication of putting on 2 years worth of shows and for all the great swimsuit shots of Laura Weintraub! Seriously though, thank you so much! You are the true saviors of the sport.

For the suits in the Ivory (or maybe Bull Poop) tower who claim to have pop, prove it! Put rollerjam back on the air and do it now! You have already lost a set of viewers by re-nigging on your promises, try and make it right.

Finally, to the RJWorldNet contestants. Thank you! Especially to those of you who have been with me since the beginning, Amy Craig Fan, Test,  Riot Fan, and Rachel, mwah! If for some reason I never talk to you again, know that you each have helped build the RJWorldNet site in your own special way. You have made this site what it is and for that I am eternally grateful. Never again will I find such a set of people in a chat room, and its still hard to believe I did, but it happened. Thank you!

You got me crying again and you aren't even here!

To those of you who came a bit later, I thank you all the same! Thank you for supporting RJWorldNet, maybe we can do it again some time!

To the skaters who have helped me over time some special messages.

Shay Brown: Thanks for the chats! May life in whatever path you take be good to you. Succeding for
you is not the question, but the answer. May your many talents take you places.
Siana Brown: Even though we hardly saw you, we all still ask, "Wheres Siana?" Know that you have
unbelievable talent, both on and off the track. To someone who caught our attention, thank                           you
Laura Weintraub: What can you  say to a woman who is not only beautiful, smart, sexy, and talented but
thank you for the Oral Authority (lol). Seriously, kudos, hopefully we'll see you on tv
     again soon.
Brooke and Heather Sunderman: Even though we haven't spoken in a while, thank you! Brooke we'll still        call you Brooke house most likely. And Heather, even though you may have faded away a bit since you          joined the Dice, you have not nor will you be forgotten! Thank you.

and finally to a special friend...

Danielle Pandeline: Danielle you are one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. Thank you for all
your contributions and such. I'll be in Florida soon enough. In the mean time good luck with school and
     continued success.

I also want to thank Mark D'Amato for helping me with the short lived saverollerjam site and I also want to thank Cara Freedman, Brian Gallagher, and Debbie Rice for their efforts in RollerJam and here at RJWorldNet!

Folks, thats all I have right now. I guess much unlike past articles I'll be able to sign off, but first! One last note! To Jaime Conemac, I know you're out there somewhere. Even though many people here may take it as a joke, I didnt take a please marry me sign to RollerJam arena, thousands of miles away for nothing. If you ever see this, I hope that you will drop me a line. To what I already know as a person beautiful and bubbly person on the outside, lets go beyond that!

Well, thats all I have. So are you ready to....no wait, we cant even say that anymore.

I guess I'll finish with two simple words....THANK YOU!
