Do I have to say Atkinson? Okay, it's the truth.

That would be Mark D'Amato, because of the smell, and Tim Washington, because I like to chop down trees.

Heather broke her leg in a couple of places, had pins put in it. We're hoping to see her for next season. She was hit by a truck.

Coming from a famous roller derby family, have you ever been accused of special treatment from the league. Also, give me your comparison of today's game from years ago.
 
Sean
Yes, some have said I get special treatment, until they hear my father yelling at me. As far as the game, as we get more games under our belt, they'll become cleaner skated, better jamming, better blocking and more scoring as we get more games under our belt. The track is bigger, which allows us more skating maneuvers and stuff like that.

Sean's not so special because Buddy's yelled at me for a half hour too!

Mark-are there any players from the WSL who remind you of players from other derby leagues that you skated in?

Mark
No, not really, the players today are better trained athletes and give 100% all the time.

We have better quality skaters.

It's faster; it's more exciting, it's more physical.

Sean
The players are bigger and stronger than they were in the '60s and '70s. With the different styles of skating, it brings different skaters into the game, we have hockey players, ex-football players and speed skaters.
