DragonsIOA Loopy Landscapes Trainer v5.0

Updated 10/24/2000

Massive Update!! Many new features this time around...

Add $50,000 - many people have asked for this. It doesn't freeze you cash supply like the $5,000,000 one does.

Freeze Ads - This will freeze all set ads at 6 weeks remaining. You still have to set them in-game.

New Help Tab - this gives help on all of the features in the trainer. It also answers some common questions.

Scenario Tools - Allows you to create "Saved-Game Scenarios" You can set the goal for the scenario, the starting cash amount, the starting loan amount, and the max loan amount. You can also change the description of the scenario. And, finally, you can set what rides are available and researchable.

Added a timer option on some of the land tools

Change Land Type - change the type of land...

change water color - red or blue

Remove height restrictions - now any ride can be built up to the game's internal limits.

The following features are used to change the map

Invert map - changes owned land to un-owned and vice-versa

Toggle Green Gridlines - When run, it will toggle ownership of any surface that has the green gridline tiling.

Rebuild Map Boundaries and Map Entrances - Will rebuild the fences around your owned land. Also, it will make the first two paths it finds on the edge of the map map entrances.

Move Park Entrances - Allows you to move the park entrances.

No new features this time. But hopefully this version will work with any version of RCT. It's been tested with the original, CF, and LL. Some features won't work on the first two but they are disabled if that version is detected. Also, I'm not sure if the Ultra-Reliable rides and Stop Puke will work with the first two either.

Updated 10/13/2000

Fixed a bug with All Attractions. Now it will give you all banners as well. Don't know how that one slipped by... :-)
Also, added Enable All Scenarios. Be warned that if you win a scenario while this is enabled, you will probably have to use the trainer every time to get to most of the LL scenarios.

Updated 10/13/2000

Ok.. I added a few new features this time as well as worked on previous features. Not so much fixing bugs, but making things a little faster and more stable. I did fix a problem with Own All Land not working correctly unless the entrance path was on the ground. Unfortunately, you don't have construction rights on the path now either. It is still only for the US version of LL. Sorry! :-)

PLEASE READ!!!

I have gotten so many emails about getting to the trainer from within RCT. If you are running in fullscreen, just hit Alt-Tab and that will get you back to the desktop. A lot of people have asked for an in-game menu. It's on the list of things to do, but towards the bottom. I still have a lot of features I want to add to the trainer, and I want to concentrate on getting those put in.

New Features:

New Hotkey system - Now you can use any key combination for hotkeys instead of the function keys. Also, you can now get to the hotkey tab while RCT is not running so you can configure the keys beforehand. I've added a feature to print the keys out, but I don't know if it works because my printer is out of ink right now. So please let me know.

Weather - A couple of people have asked to be able to set the temperature. Now you can.

Remove Trees - This now will only remove trees that you own.

Flatten Owned Land - This will flatten all owned land. You can set it to flatten it so it's at the same height as the entrance, or to any level you want. You can only set it to a certain range though. This is because any values out of that range causes problems. You can also tell it whether or not to flatten the paths too. As of right now, it leaves the rides and stalls where they are. I can have it move everything that doesn't have track, but I decided until I can move all of them to leave it out.

Set Water Table - You can set an overall level of the water. Be warned that if you set it too high, you can start a mass drowning, which has crashed the game in testing.

Modify The Staff - Now you can do a mass setting of your staff. I hate having to click on each one to tell them not to mow or whatnot, so this will do it for you. Items that are greyed will not be modified so if you don't want to affect a setting, make sure it's greyed.

Fire Staff - Fire all staff at the touch of a button. Yes, remove all peeps is coming soon, but it still needs some work before it's ready for release.

Peep Settings - Now you can set each part of the peep settings to whatever you want. I left in the old features (Happy, Macho, Rich) for now but they will probably be removed. Note that this new feature is more stable so it's recommended it be used instead of the old ones. Also, you can set it on a timer to always keep your guests the way you want them.

Peep Clothing - Set the color of the peeps' clothing. Also can be set on a timer.

Form Land Around Ride - Now you can bury a ride if you want to. Also, you can make it so that the land raises so that it's directly below each piece on the ride. And finally, you can set it so that you can tunnel certain portions of the ride. Just paint whatever section you want to be in a tunnel with the Alternate 3 color and let the trainer do the rest.

Well, the Non-US code failed miserable so I disabled it in this version. People have been sending me data for non-US version so hopefully I'll be able to support them soon. Plus, it was causing problems for the US version. Now there isn't a Offset Database to worry about so hopefully the problems with the rides features amongst others will be fixed. Another bug that was fixed was the in-game messages.

New features:

All Attractions now works immediately.
Clean Paths - MAKE SURE YOU PAUSE THE GAME BEFORE USING!!!
Trams - Four different sizes of trams to bring your peeps to the park.

Updated 10/1/2000

Another update! Not too many new features this time. But hopefully it will work with non-US versions.

New features - Disable Puke and Trash. This will stop peeps from getting sick, or littering. It will NOT clean up previously made "items" though.

Variable lift speeds - Change the speed of the coaster lift hills. WARNING!! This can cause some very strange things to happen. If you use it, try to to crank it up all at once unless the rides are shut down. Doing so will launch a train into the next one :-) I'm working on the water rides, but it isn't as easy to crack as the lift hills. I'll get it eventually :-)

Big thing in this release is (*hopefully*) non-US versions. The first time the trainer is run, it will search RCT for what it needs. So be sure that RCT is loaded, and preferably in a scenario before running the trainer for the first time. If it still doesn't seem like it works, click on the Rebuild Version Database button and see if it works afterwards. So let me know what features work with what version of RCT. It creates a file name ofs.trn so please email that to me along with the above information.

New version released! A couple new features and a major big fixed.

Now Own All Land works correctly. I still have no idea how the version that version was released inside of the working one...

New features...

Make All Rides New

Make Rides Ultra-Reliable - Your rides will *never* break down. After you apply this, don't be too surprised if a ride or two break down still. RCT decided if it's going to break down because of something vehicle related while the train is still on the course.

Modify ride - Switch ride modes, make anything power launched, with more than 1 train. Put different vehicles on different rides, etc..

Updated 9/27/2000

Version 2.0 has been released. Along with a couple of minor bug fixes, this version adds many new features.

Hotkeys. Yes, I have finally added them. I don't use them too much, but so many people have requested them so here they are...

Land Features...

Mow Grass
Own All Land
Repair Vandalism (Something I've always wanted in a trainer! :-)
Water Flowers
Remove All Trees.

Please note that the last three will *not* work on anything added since the game was last saved. It's because of how RCT handles the map. Just save it, and it will work fine. It's a good habit to get into when using any trainer anyways :-)

Peep Stuff

Happy Guests - Will give them full happiness and energy while minimizing the negative things.

Macho Guests - Gives guests high nausea ratings, and intensities up to 15.

Rich Guests - Gives all guests 1000.00.

Once again, save before using. The occasional crash will happen so don't say I didn't warn you! Also, it's more stable if the game is paused.

I know there's a Ride Tools tab that's empty right now. That's my next project. I'm not for sure what I'll include so any suggestions would be welcome.

*OLD NEWS*

New version! This one mainly fixes some bugs in the first version..

Freeze Rating would cause award messages to repeat endlessly. Now fixed, but the rating is only frozen when the trainer is running.

All Attractions now adds everything needed. All special tracks, vehicles, everything. You'd be surprised what needs to be researched for certain things to work. Like golfers for mini-golf, the tent for Circus Show, etc.. Yes, I know that things tend to show up as roller-coasters in the research dialog. But the game puts them where they need to go once done. I just don't feel like writing the code needed to fix it when it's purely cosmetic :-)

New features...

Set Entrance Fee. This will set the park admission fee. In certain scenarios, peeps will just come to the gate and turn around if the admission isn't free. I'll look into seeing why that is when I get time. But I don't like to search through, and modify, the game code if I can avoid it. If it happens, just set the fee back to 0 and they will enter.

Weather options. Now you can change the weather, and freeze it at any type you want. Can be unfrozen too. I hate the storms when I'm trying to build my parks. Or I guess you could set it to always storming if you want your park to be in Florida :-) Before people complain.. I live there so I'm allowed :-)

Just a side note... I accidentally "won" the original Mega Park scenario, and the next time I ran the game, all of the LL scenarios were "unwon" and locked again. But I couldn't win them back so I had to re-install :-( So just don't win every scenario I guess. Stupid Anti-Cheat code...

Old News...

This is my first attempt at a trainer, so bear with me.

A few notes...

The game speed slider doesn't affect the research speed at all. It only affects the days and months as far as I know. Beware of the Turbo setting. On my machine, it racked up 90 years in about 30 seconds...

The open/close park button is mainly for the scenarios that you can't manually open or close the park. But it looks like if you fail, and the game closes the park, even if you re-open it with the trainer, no more peeps will arrive. I didn't look at it very long so I could be wrong though. Just use the Freeze Rating button, and you won't have to worry about it. *UPDATE* Drexler's patch beta 2 fixed this problem!

The Freeze Rating will freeze it at 999.

The Add 1000 Peeps function just adds it to the total displayed on the screen. It doesn't generate new peeps, but it does count towards the goals.

The Rapid Research does just that. Not as quick as I'd like it to be, but I can't do too much to speed up Sawyer's code so it's a good as I can get it right now.

And now the one everyone wants to know about... All Attractions! This will give you pretty much everything. And it works on any scenario, so all those cool parks people have made can be updated with the new rides too. One thing I haven't put in yet is the additional trains, special track pieces, etc.. Doing so won't be too hard. I just want to make sure this works on most people's machines before I get too far into it. And when I do put them in, it will pick up where it left off so to speak. Just remember that you don't get everything immediately. You get all the scenery, but everything else still has to be researched. Just set the Rapid Research function, and take a quick break. It's usually done in a couple of minutes if that.

One more thing. I am assuming that the Drexler patch will be required to load the saved games. I have the patch, and I tested every scenario on all 3 packs to make sure they'd all reload ok. It seems like only maps with all the land owned refuses to load right now.
