This site had originally been constructed as a personal platform for Storytellers (DM's, Game Masters, etc.) and Players around the world.  Here, the experienced teller of tales could share the richness of his/her experience, and the fledgling Storyspeaker/Player could read, learn, grow, and ultimately contribute.

But lack of public response has turned this site largely into a personal platform.  This is probably due to my complete incompetence at promoting or publicizing a web page.  Barely anyone knows this place exists.  So.  What follows below are the writings of Jonathan M. Dobson.

THE ORIGINAL CLARION CALL:  This site opened on January 27th, 2002.  There is a definitive lack of articles (only one!) for you to view.  Roleplay Theorist needs more articles! 

What we are looking for:

Articles about role-playing in general:  DMing, playing, etc.  If your article pertains to a specific system, please clearly identify which system at the top of your article.  Your submission(s) should be plain HTML, with no graphics, and at least 100 words, exceptions granted.

Once there is a sufficient amount of work at this site, the articles will be categorized by system pertinence, genre, and topic.
