[LIGHTS UP]
[OPENING MUSIC to Silent Hill begins.]

[HARRY MASON enters STAGE LEFT.]
[HEATHER MASON enters STAGE RIGHT.]

[MUSIC FADES.]

HARRY                                   “Have you seen a little girl?”

HEATHER                               “Daddy, you’ve been asking everyone in sight that question

since before I was born.  When are you going to stop?”

HARRY                                   “I’m sorry, honey.  But once you ask it so many times, it

just becomes a habit---“

[RADIO STATIC, from Silent Hill, begins.]

HARRY                                   “Oh no…”  Pulls out SHOTGUN.

HEATHER                               “What is it, daddy?”  Pulls out PISTOL.

HARRY                                   “It can’t be!  We’ve already saved Silent Hill!  Twice!!”

HEATHER                               “Three times.”

HARRY                                   Sighs.  “Heather, how many times do I have to tell you?  

That second time didn’t count.  I mean, it didn’t fit in

anywhere with the rest of the story, and---”

HEATHER                               “Daddy, the radio…”

HARRY                                   “Oh, yeah.  Right.  Now, where was I?  Oh yeah.”  Clears

throat.  “It can’t be!”

[RADIO STATIC stops.]
[DAHLIA GILLESPIE enters STAGE RIGHT.]

DAHLIA                                  “Yes, it is I, Dahlia Gillespie.  Silent Hill is being devoured

by darkness.  You must stop her.  You must stop her

before---”

HARRY                                   “Yeah, yeah, enough already.  I remember this part.”

HEATHER                               “Wait, aren’t you supposed to be dead?”

[VOICE OFFSTAGE.]

CLAUDIA (Offstage)                     “Yes, she is!”

[CLAUDIA enters STAGE LEFT.]

CLAUDIA                               “She is dead, and now I am the official ‘Bitch of Silent

Hill.’ ”

DAHLIA                                  “No!  Impossible!  I have been the ‘Official Bitch of Silent

Hill’ since before you were born!”

CLAUDIA                               “Your time has ended, old woman!  Now I---”

[JAMES SUNDERLAND, MARY SUNDERLAND, and MARIA enter STAGE RIGHT.]

JAMES                                    “AHEM!  Excuse me, but… do any of you have any idea

what we’re even doing here??”

HEATHER                               “Nope.”

DAHLIA                                  “Nu uh.”

CLAUDIA                               “Nada.”

HARRY                                   “Sorry, James, not a clue.  Been trying to figure that one

out since 2001.  Maybe Pyramid-Head over there knows.” 

Points STAGE LEFT.

[PYRAMID-HEAD enters STAGE LEFT.]

JAMES                                    “Thanks, Harry!  Hey, Pyramid-Head!  Do you have any

idea why we’re here?”  Motions to himself, MARY, and

MARIA.

PYRAMID-HEAD              Shakes his head negative.

JAMES                                    “Damn.  Ok, well do you at least know why you keep

wandering around, finding me, fighting me for like five minutes, and then walking away like you’ve suddenly lost interest?”

PYRAMID-HEAD              Shakes his head negative.

JAMES                                    Sighs.  “Great.  Just great.  All right, well can you at least

show me how to bet out of this Cosplay?”

PYRAMID-HEAD              Nods his head affirmative.

JAMES                                    “Good!”  Sighs, relieved.  “All right, then.”  To MARIA. 

“Come on, Mary.  Let’s go.”

MARIA                                   “How many times do I have to tell you?  My name is

Maria!”

MARY                         “Yeah.  I’m Mary!”

JAMES                                    Under his breath.  “Whatever… like you’re not really the

same person, anyway…”

[Exeunt JAMES, MARY, MARIA, and PYRAMID-HEAD STAGE LEFT]

HARRY                                   “All right, that’s finally over.  Now, anyone remember

what we were talking about?  And, by the way, have

you---”

[HEATHER, DAHLIA, and CLAUDIA speak in unison.]

UNISON                                 “ ‘---you seen a little girl?’  No!”

HARRY                                   “Just thought I’d ask… You don’t have to get upset about

it…”

[CYBIL SHEPARD enters STAGE LEFT]

CYBIL                         “Harry!  The roads are blocked again, and that damned fog

just rolled in!  There’s no way out!”

[AIR RAID SIREN from Silent Hill starts.]

HARRY                                   Pulls SHOTGUN.  “Oh no… it’s time!”

HEATHER                               “Time?  You mean time to go into Reverse Side?”  Pulls

PISTOL.

CYBIL                         “Otherworld.”

HEATHER                               “What-ever.”

HARRY                                   “No.  It’s worse than that.  It’s time for the end of the

Cosplay!”

[LIGHTS OUT]
