Michael Jeremiah Clark was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on December
30th, 1965. His father worked at the Remington plant
there, building the component parts for rifles, shotguns, and the
like. His mother was a waitress and housewife, and the blood mother
of all three of Michael’s elder brothers. While his older brothers
played outside at fighting, hunting, and the other games of the kind,
and really seemed to enjoy them, Michael felt that his life revolved
around something different. Sure, he enjoyed these games, but not
half as much as the others. At about the age of 10, he realized that
it would have something to do with the Church, the church his entire
family was a part of, but, still, he did not quite understand what.
Until just after his Confirmation… when he received The Calling.
Words cannot describe it, what happened to young Michael that night.
He could never tell anyone if they asked him… and many did. But the
effect was so profound; he could only
know one thing. His life was meant to be in the priesthood. He
didn’t tell his father, or his mother, until his 18th
Birthday, when he told them that he would be going to seminary school
instead of continuing on to college, as his two younger brothers had,
or the plant, like his oldest brother had. His family was quite
enraged… but after a month or so to get used to it, they accepted that
this was his path, and no one could change it.
He spent six years in Seminary School at Bedford
Seminary, in Battle Creek, Michigan. He seemed to excel at
researching the history and laws of the Church, and, soon after his
completion of Seminary, was assigned to a Jesuit parish near
Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where he was able to both
practice and perform his Priestly duties, but was also able to
continue his research into both the Theologies, Histories, and
Practices of the Roman Catholic Church, as well as the Laws therein.
He was truly a very conservative priest, believing that the church
itself, as well as those who gave their lives to the church, could not
truly be wrong or incorrect in any way.
Years
of time and work have taught Michael many things. In recent years, he
has begun to believe that the church itself is infallible, but that
those within it can still be tainted by sin… proven by the confession
of the Pope to the atrocities the Church has overlooked, as well as
the recent discoveries of DROVES of molestation cases. However, his
belief in how to solve these cases is simply to rid themselves of
these obviously liberal priests, bring the church back to its true
ways, and to fill the churches with people, as to save their souls.
In early September, Michael was
reassigned to Saint Thomas' Catholic Church in Brentford North.
This is the story of a man whose life has been devoted to the Church,
and who will not stop until every soul possible can be saved. If they
will not come around to the right way of thinking, that’s their right…
they will go to Hell, but that is still their right.
Sense Congruence: Allows you to sense
localities or people at the convergence of an event. Specify the event
you want to detect (a summoning ritual, car accident, etc), and roll
Willpower, Difficulty 8. You can sense the pattern a number of days into the
future equal to your faith score (in Michael's case, 5 days). # of
successes determines how much information you receive.
