Liam O'Connely was the name he was born under, born to a set of rich
parents who lived in the outskirts of Brentford North. He was
sent to all of the best boarding schools and private schools there was
to be had... and he got kicked out of all of them. He did not
have the dignity, they said, the prestige to be a member of their
alumni. And so, just after the end of his fifth grade year, he
was put in public school in Brentford South... an experience that, in
so many ways, would change his life forever... and then some.
Nothing could have prepared him for this sudden culture shock.
He had to learn to adapt, and quickly, lest he became just another
target for the bullies to beat up. And so, with a necessity that
he had never experienced before, he adapted, and excelled in his new
life. His studies improved, but, at the same time, he found
himself becoming a much more social person... he had to be, to try and
fit in, for it was either that, or take his chances, and possibly get
beaten severely and regularly. It wasn't until his ninth grade
year that he finally found his niche, hanging with the group most
people called the "stoners."
Truth be told, only a very few of them actually did drugs of any
kind, but it was just how people thought. These were the social
outcasts, the ones who had never found a niche in any of the cliques
the school had to offer, so they had joined forced with each other.
Skaters, stoners, rockers, punks, and even more than this who really
didn't fall under one label... including another group which was
simply called "the ravers." Once he got in with these kids, and
discovered raves, he discovered his true love. Not the dancing,
as he could live without that. Not the drugs... as he, honestly,
never did them. And it certainly wasn't the pacifiers... though
he did think they were kinda cool. No, it was the music.
The DJs. He instantly fell in love with it, and, with the help
of his parents... who really just wanted to see him doing something
with his life... he was able to get his own turntable and mixing
setup. After that, and a few years of practice... a LOT of
practice... he was able to slowly begin his own DJ business, under the
name "DJ-Sparks."
And now, that's what he's doing. He's a DJ for hire, a college
student, studying Electrical Engineering at Brentford North
University, and just a normal, average human being.
