Origins:Nayoko was the son of a Kitsune male and his noble
wife, over three hundred years ago. One of those few families of
Kitsune that was permitted the status of "Noble," the Sunada family
was not a large or prestigious one, but it was a well-respected
family, known for its religious devotion to the goddess Inari, as well
as for being an honest house. But also, at the same time, they
are known for being mischievous, and for their feminine appearances,
even the males of the house. Such was the case with Nayoko... a
male with a female name, and, as he grew, female features and a very
delicate nature.
He was born in the form of a fox... which had been expected by both
mother (who was mortal) and father (who was Kitsune himself).
After being sent out to train with the fox-form Kitsune of his family
for the first part of his life, yes, about 50 to 60 years... and yes,
as nobles, his male family members had tended to perform some of the
more noble routines of "bedding pretty women of his choice," and had
created more than a few Kitsune of illegitimate birth in their time...
Nayoko was returned to the house, now in human form, for proper noble
training. Hence, he has... as most Kitsune do... a distinct
understanding of both the human and fox sides of his nature.
For the latter half of his first century, the young Kitsune was
trained in the arts of being a noble. All of the skills he would
have to know, as well as the written and unwritten rules of the
nobility, were taught to him in this time period. As well, this
would be the last part of his life that he was truly allowed to play,
to be a prankster, and to truly LIVE, and not just go through the
routines of his life. After this point, he was expected to be a
member of the Nobility, which left little time for playing pranks, for
going out and having fun, and even for being a fox. But it is
his duty, and, as long as he has the time to practice the wishes of
his goddess, he will survive... with maybe a FEW little excursions to
have fun.
Present:
Now, he is a nobleman in the province right next
to Iiga Village. He visits Iiga and the surrounding cities from
time to time... simply for a change of pace.
Desires:
To live, to enjoy life, and to get out of some of his Noble duties
to have a little fun.
Fates:
Whatever Inari has planned for him.
