Here are those notes from our students we were telling you about. We will let the people who ride with us tell you what they like about Rolelu

"A life without riding would be a life with a lost dimension. Riding at Rolelu has forever changed my life.

Not only do I learn about horses, their care and riding every day, I learn lessons about life. The Luce's have dedicated their lives to Rolelu for their love of horses and each other. This genuine love and dedication is in turn reflected upon each of their student.

Before I started riding I never felt as if I had really found "my niche" in life. Marian and Ron's appreciation, love, trust, dedication and empathy for the horses have shown me that this is an incredibly special part of my life.

I will be eternally grateful to Marian and Ron for letting me explore the joys of riding; for letting me discover the wonder of a horse's companionship, for all the memories of the days I have spent on their beautiful farm. But most of all, the love that the horses have passes on to me."

- Sarah Doyle

"Not so long ago, a popular military recruitment jingle urged its listeners to "Be all that you can be, in the army."

A version of this theme explains why I enjoy riding at Rolelu.

One can speak separately, of course, of Rolelu's herd of healthy, energetic horses and the excellent care they receive; its well maintained facilities and extensive fields; the expert guidance and instruction provided; the many opportunities to interact with and gain support from good people of all ages; and the numerous events, classes and trail rides that both test one's skills and enliven one's riding pleasure.

It is all of these features together, however, that not only deepen and intensify the sheer joy of riding, but challenge the individual to discover within himself/ herself strengths and capabilities he/she never knew they possessed, and to develop these talents with each trot around the arena, vault over a jump, and canter across the meadow.

Riding at Rolelu certainly produces a better rider.

More importantly, riding at Rolelu produces a better person.
