(Gen 2:24)

Relationship marred by the fall:
"I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth .... your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you."
(Gen 3:16)

Beauty of character is her true adornment:
And let not your adornment be external - braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. For in this way in former times the holy women also ... used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands.
(1 Pet 3:3-5)

I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments; but rather, by means of good works, as befits women making a claim to godliness.
(1 Tim 2:9-10)

Concerning salvation (being sons, heirs, and clothed with Christ) gender is irrelevant:
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
(Gal 3:28)

Husbands and wives:
Be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. Wives to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church ....
.... as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her; ....
Husbands ought ... to love their own wives as their own bodies.
(Eph 5:21-28)

Wives be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behaviour of their wives, as they observe your chaste and respectful behaviour.
(1 Pet 3:1-2)

You husbands likewise, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker vessel, since she is a woman; and grant her honour as a fellow heir of the grace of life.
(1 Pet 3:7)

Headship and headcovering:
Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ. Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying, disgraces his head. But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying, disgraces her head; ....
.... a man ought not to have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. ....
Therefore the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels .....
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonour to him, but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering. But if one is inclined to be contentious, we have no other practice, nor have the churches of God.
(1 Cor 11:3-16)

She is not allowed to teach or exercise authority over a man:
Let a woman quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being quite deceived, fell into transgression.

Older women .... teaching what is good, that they may encourage [or, train, cause to think soundly about their responsibilities, hold to their duty] the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be dishonoured.
(Titus 2:3-5)

She is not to speak in church and should keep her questions for her husband at home:
Let the women keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but let them subject themselves, just as the Law also says. And if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper [or, disgraceful] for a woman to speak in church.
(1 Cor 14:34, 35)

Paul's authority for saying such things:
