inspired by God - useful - fully equips the man of God:
All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
(2 Tim 3:16-17)

that we might be saved:
These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.
(John 20:31)

written for us:
For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.
(Rom 15:4)

But the words, "it was reckoned to him," were written not for his sake alone, but for ours also, to whom it will be reckoned ....
