hubby already adore this cute lil labrador Hi everybody! I am Benji, that's the short form of Benjiamina,in Italy it means something like "mascot" and mommy called me this way because she hopes everybody will fall in love with me and so volunter for dog sitter :O) I am a labrador puppy born on the 21st of march, and that make me really an offSPRING, isn'it? The thing I wish most in my life is to became a great pal for mommy, daddy an my elder bro Spotty, I madly tail-wagging every time I see them! The thing mommy wish most is that I will become the perfect "houseguest", toilet trained and obedient! Well, I am giving her some hard times peeing everywhere every two seconds :O) The things I like most to do are: Wake everybody up at six o'clock every morning! The one that isn't bothered by this annoying habit of mine is my bro Spotty cuz for him an early wake up means an early breakfast!!! During silent nights I like banging my steel bowls against walls, floor and furnitures, it sounds great, but of course I am the one in my family to have an ear for music :O) cuz when I play "nocturne bowls concerts" mom and dad get mad at me :O( Chew everything from furnitures to shoes and T-shirts, but expecially mommy's fingers, hands and foots... I find her so good! Tormenting my elder bro Spotty running after him. Spotty doesn't like this game, he is such a bore!!! He always tries to avoid my attentions by hiding somewhere (on a high tree, on a chair or on mommy's lap!!!). That cat is a brat!!! Check if there is some leftover in Spotty's bowls (usually I find just the smell of catfood cuz Spotty is more greedy than I am!) Go out for a walk cuz every two steps somebody stops me, pets me and says me lovely words as "Oh, what a cute lil dog!" Steal my granny's cigarette packets, so she is forced to run after me if she wants to smoke! (she say I am a naughty doggy but instead I love my granny and I don't want the smoke to hurt her lugs!). I really have a great time with granny cuz she is more easily fooled than mom and dad, I always manage to steal her keys and she is not good at catching me! She plead me a lot to have them back but why to return them? If she can't enter home she can play with me! Granny is always gardening cuz she adore flowers, so to please her I pull up the flowers and bring them to her but she is not glad, she goes to mommy and makes her a BIG complaint and then mommy came to me and scream "Bad dog! Don't dare to do this again!" but why not? When daddy gives flowers everyone is delighted so I really don't understand why when it's me the one who brings them everybody scream!?! I think there are lots of things I have to learn! My parents have read that during the first months of a doggy's life discipline is really important and so everyday they try to teach me something, it is usually something I don't enjoy like when to seat, when to stand up, when and where to pee, not to bark, not to bite, and so on and on! How demanding they could be! I really don't understand why they never teach Spotty anything, he is older than me and he doesn't always behave himself! I start thinking my life is really a "Dog's life!"
