There isn't much lenghty fan fiction at all written on Breath of Fire II, and certainly (to my knowledge) no stories that are a retelling of the entire game itself. So when I found this piece, I was ecstatic (Breath of Fire II is my favorite of the series). Not only did it exist, it was really well written, too! The drawback is that it would only have appeal for those of us who have played and enjoyed the game... otherwise, the story would be too context sensetive for anyone to get enjoyment out of. The writing style is similar to much fantasy writing I have read: descriptive, third person, imaginative. Perfect for a piece based on this sort of game. If you like the game, check this one out.
