Piece #03: Chocolate Nietzsche
Song of Influence: "Karma Stew" -- The Circle Jerks, Wonderful
Theme: Image is nothing. Nietzsche equals ice cream. And, I just lifted
everything in my freezer.
"Your clothes are a little ratty.
Aren't you concerned with image at all?" he asked.
The other smiled, and looked away.
"Image means nothing," he said. "Strange to hear that shite
coming from you, who practically introduced me to Nietzsche."
He shook his head with a chuckle.
"Since when does personal image come into play with his philosophy?"
"I don't believe it does. But, someone
like you to say that sounds kind of weird, don't you think?"
He looked into the grey, overcast sky.
"Perhaps. Too bad the world runs that way, y'know. First impressions,
building the right impression... don't mean a fuckin' thing."
"I concur."
Just then Katt ran up to them, big smile on
her face, wearing a tattered white t-shirt one size too big along with a pair
of faded jeans. In her hands were two seperate ice cream cones, dripping even
in the cool autumn breeze.
"Hey, I know you guys really wanted
these," she said with some hesitation in her voice, though there was a
large grin on her face. "but I um, sort of took the liberty of...
er..."
The two looked at the cones, each of which
were missing a significant amount of chocolate ice cream. Katt's eyes sparkled
and she chuckled nervously. The two then looked at each other.
"Fokkin' shite."
