Traditional routes are to be thought for the most part in less steep ground. An exception forms Kalbarri gold (26), impressive 9 meters of roof ; discouraging and to
protect other traditional routes impressive, but how many well. In a different
way, however, it goes up in the sector Ravine. Here there is a heap of boulders,
" psycho English designs " routes of outstanding quality in the best
sandstone which are badly secured, however, idiotically - " You've
precisely gotta have faith "
Mostly the routes are approximately 15 to 20 meters high, an exception is the
sector amphitheater with up to 170 meters.
Routes and difficulties: in the whole there are approximately 100 routes between
6 and 29, of it about 25 sports routes, the majority in the area 23 to 29. One
finds an excellent choice in the sector promenade, the most beautiful ones are:
Heavy Petting (25), Root Canal (27), labial Callisthenics (29), Bustin ' (27)
and She Magic (26). The traditional routes are a little bit simpler and to find
14. to 20th degree mostly in. The classical routes are, Keith Go shiny (15),
Wicked city (21), Kalbarri gold (26), and Indiana Jones (26).
The best season: winter With August and September as the most ideal months, is the best time - the river is high
which wild flowers .
Position: Kalbarri 6000 kms from Perth, or altogether approximately 6 1/2 hours
from Perth. To get there you would usually take the Northwest Coastal Highway.
You bend inwards on the right into the Kalbarri national park and follow a 26-kilometer road of clumsy, interred street to the Z-bend where the crag is.
Access: from the Z-bend car park
you follow a marked pathway for about 500 meters up to the lookout point, from
where you can see the different sectors. The striking grayness orange wall is on
the left a tourist Wall with the tear classical author of Keith Go shiny (15).
The entrance to the ravine is on the left to the lookout. You then descend a
steep path and go down an aluminum ladder and then follow the river for approximately 15 minutes up to the promenade and then your fun starts with a day full of adventure.
The deep Kalbarri ravines are from enormous beauty. While wavelike cliff faces to
the Murchison River which itself follows the ravine, the often-immaculate
sandstone changes in the shades from yellow, up to the deep ochre and black. At
a lot of places the cliff architecture can also inspire the widely traveled
climber; the enormous hang over, to sharp edges and high rising tears.
The climbing very is eventful, because the ravines show different sectors for sports
and traditional climbing. The sports routes are from the finest; to hanging
over, and usually with adhesive hook very well secured.
