Nestled amongst the shady trees and bush land overlooking the Roleystone Valley, "The Brook" is one of the most popular and developed crags around Perth.
Reaching a height of 30 meters and with most routes between 15 and 18, the cliff is ideal for the mid and lower grade climbers. It's dolerite walls are quite compact in places, but generally the cliff line is blocky, dirty and vegetated, particularly in the upper reaches. If this hasn't put you off, then you'll find some surprisingly pleasant chimneys, cracks, slabs and face climbing. Some of the best climbs include: Pink Knickers (12), Lost Arrow (15), Major (17), Slash and Burn (18), Celestial Way Direct (19), Super Slab Direct (20), Tap Tap Tremble (21), Bodgy Dolts (21), Sundowner (22), Up For Grabs (22), Inner Tension (24), Snatches and Lay (24).
