In May 2006 I got a cheap Ryanair flight to Dublin to see as many friends and family as possible.
The weekend started off well with a 2 hour delay before take-off due to the thunder storms in Dublin a few hours before. The shop closed at 10.30 but at least the bar stayed open till the flight left at 12.30. There was a hen party waiting for the flight too and they were the life of the departure lounge... I spent Friday night at my cousins as my brother Ger had to work Saturday morning. Saturday involved a lot of eating, drinking and gossiping with friends. I'd say I had more of all these over the weekend than I normally do over an entire week! Anne Marie, Ciara, Jean, Lisa, Mary and Sinéad were in flying form as were the couple who owe me big-time as a match-maker; John and Michelle. Michelle's little sister Brid joined us but Brid Barron got a flat tyre and couldn't make it up from Wexford. Eva made it down from the back-arse of Cavan and Chris Quinn and Pat Falvey even turned up to say hi! Peter, Aislinn, Simon and Lloyd joined us later. I really hadn't seen anyone in ages so I really appreciated the gossip!

I forgot my camera on the Saturday but I made up for it on the Sunday by takin LOTS of photos of my cousins Jim, Joan, David and Andrew Kennedy, or as they are known, my adopted family. Although David has shaved off his really red (then pink, then blue) hair, it still doesn't make him any less of a "character".

Andrew Brotherly Love or is it a wrestling match? David
We went for Tapas in Salamanca. It was fantastic! The Kennedy Clan + adopted sister The Lads
Andrew has grown a lot in the past few years.
Here he is just 18 months ago.
Does he still look deranged?
Answers on a postcard please!
