| The City gave a new meaning to moms Your room is filthy! speech, because you could see the dust that formed every day.  Favorite place in World: Boracay.  Most evil car yet devised: The Jeepney. I began Middle school, and almost died from the hatred of class mates I got. Lots of Jesus, scouts, and reading kept me going though. Lanky white boy walks into a classroom of Pilipino kids, is smarter than most of them, and is, of course, immediately Alienated. To survive, he clings, to teachers, older students, scouts, and his parents, but mostly to the cross. Friday night live, a youth group run by the school, and attended by older kids, was a fun place. And many times I went from week to week praying for Friday to come around. I found a mentor in my art teacher, Mrs. Robbins, and also made friends with some eighth graders, Katie and Angie. The school, Brent, maintained a campus inside the city, and was a giant hell hole. The following year, the school opened its new southern Campus, Which I attended. Outside of the city limits, A nice, Open environment is presented, and, knowing a few people, I am somewhat liked. In eighth grade, I am not popular, but not hated, as in sixth. I get a leading role in the High school Musical, Youre a Good Man Charlie Brown, (I was Linus.) Very cool |
