This is a personal site, begun September '03, not owned by any business or organisation.
Some of the sites listed here or on my links pages (3 of them) belong to friends, to people who've signed the guestbook or emailed me. Others are simply sites I like or find useful. You can bookmark this page by clicking this link. eerie and me hope you enjoy your visit, Roger N.B. Especially for all those people who find this site by searching for 'haunted dolls', I'm adding this link to October Effigies, which I found in my guestbook and is a site I'm sure doll collectors will appreciate.
She's recently completed an article about Type O Negative.
Leading band
Asrai
have been signed to
Transmission Records and released their outstanding new CD Touch in the Dark to critical acclaim. The video for the
single
Palelight was made by gothic artists
Marcel De Jong and Jelle Swetter.
You can also listen to their music and see great photos of the
band at
Asrai's official website.
The site is constructed by Karin. There's also a brand new
Asrai Official Fan Site. You can find it
here.
Contrast, with Pax,
formerly of Malochia,
will be releasing its new album this year.
See photos of the band in action at its site.
Click on either of the above two pictures! B
etween them, these people are reaching a huge audience.
Maud Mulder's site has been going through a series of positively Kafkaesque metamorphoses during the past months, and has now become the aptly-named Curiosa.
I'm not exactly sure what she's up to now, so why not click on the (now out-of-date - sorry!) banner above to visit her site. You'll find her excellent drawings and 'mutilated photographs' as well as her well-known animated e-cards. Maud also
designs and prints T-shirts and bags - including those for
Asrai.
She is, she says, 'A modest girl.'
She made this tiny button for me and I think it's exquisite.
Thanks, Maude!
Marcel De Jong prefers to work in Photoshop. He's made his name with work in comics,
posters, greetings cards, sculptures - including headstones - and animated
cartoons, including Aina and the brilliant When She Was Good...
which features the music of
Pax and voice of Antoinette, formerly of Malochia. He works now with Jelle Swetter
and made the video for
Asrai's single Palelight. I recommend Marcel's site for it's artwork (some day I'll get more of my own uploaded - I seem to spend all my time making web-pages, these days!).
There's a connexion between
Kendra Lefay,
Contrast and
Asrai. It's not difficult to
work out, just visit their sites. Enough to say that she's a
friend, an excellent photographer and a musician. Her photos are
displayed in other websites and clubs around the world.
The Lost, The Forgotten, The Damned is owned by Andrea Dean Van Scoyoc
who describes herself as 'eccentric'.
She's also quite charming and works as a gothic model.
Her short story The Lofters
can be read in this site.
I'm delighted to add, that this year will see the publication of her novel,
Gothique - A Man of Two Worlds by Black Death books, with cover design
by Majik Studios.
You can read the first chapter by clicking this link to www.eternalnight.co.uk.
She has previously written a novel The Grounds of Nachmasheeghan.
The Old Wife's Tales is owned by Marie. She's a natural born storyteller. You can read reviews of her stories The Wizard, Imaginary Playmates, Headlights in the Mirror and Sherwood's Island by clickinghere
Carl Merritt is the owner of Abe's Tomb and author of the novel A Fleet of Angels.
Carl was the first to list my site on his
100 Ultimate Literary Top Sites, which seemed
to coincide with the publication of his book... Whether that
Top Site List is being updated now that Carl's otherwise busy writing,
I really don't know. But I pay a visit to Abe's Tomb now and again. It's kinda fun.
Shadow Walk is owned by Amos Keppler, who is a Witch, a Storyteller,
an artist, a Rebel, a Nomad and much, much more. He has published his
first novel, The Nightwalker. Amos obviously knows his own mind
and how he wants to go about things. It's the only way. You can buy his book
at Amazon or visit his site by clicking on the banner above.
Darkness Embraced is one of the more atmospheric and technically dazzling sites on the web. I don't know it's owner, Larae, but she's clearly a brilliant webmistress. It was at Darkness Embraced, through Darkness Against Child Abuse, that I found Code Amber.
Go on, click it, you might save a life.

Or just click on the big banner at top of this page and you'll

Roger
The buttons below take you to
the Top Site lists that include my site banner among many others.
If you click on one of these buttons, you're 'voting' for my site.
The more votes, the higher up that list the site goes and the more people likely to find it.
Obviously, you're free to choose which list button to click on.
What you get out of it is a visit to a list of plenty of other sites to explore. You probably got here via one of these lists. Enjoy.
And if you liked this site, please remember to add it to your favorites menu
