Palmistry For All comes on 2 360K floppy disks. To be installed on
a hard disk.

The LOGO screen states if the program is shareware or registered and
there is no PRINTOUT option for the reports on the shareware version.

The registered version comes with the same documentation on disk,
same program, BUT it has an OUTPUT option to PRINT the reports PLUS a
double-sided sheet with all the screen CHOICES to use as a check-sheet
while away from the computer so you can look at a hand anywhere, check
off the sheet and then run the program when you get back to the computer.
You can photocopy the check sheet for more sheets.

The printed report is in ASCII, without graphics, which will run on
almost any printer.

Why read palms?

This can be a great hobby (even earn while you learn).

You might realize that you can tell a lot about a person by looking
at a hand.

You might be looking for the perfect LINE in order to start a
conversation with strangers.

You might be looking for someone with the right romantic potential
you want.

It could be you just want to eliminate those that don't have the
right amount of income to interest you and KNOW it at the start.

You might want to learn something to use at parties!

You might want to learn palm reading for it's seriousness and
business potential.

You might want to get started and then continue on in depth to
learn the health areas covered by hand reading. The list goes on
and on. THE BEST REASON for most people is that you can talk to almost
anyone about their hand at most anytime...... on the street, to a
salesperson when they are adding up prices, to someone at work, to a
person you just can't break the ice with or gatherings of all types.
PEOPLE RESPOND WITH SUCH ENTHUSIASM THAT YOU WILL BE AMAZED! Just
tell someone you are starting to read hands and they will put their
hand out and ask what you see!

Just running through this program will show you there is a lot you
can see in others very quickly, even by glancing at a hand held at the
side or up in the air. The interpretations in this program are
general. You will be able to add a personal touch to interpreting a
hand after just a few different runs through the program and reading
the text output. Many factors are included for specific information
about a person and all of them cannot be COMBINED in a program that
covers so much as it is. You will be able to make those personal
comments soon to show that you DO know something about reading hands.
This program covers more than some of the small books on the subject
and goes way beyond in some areas! PALMISTRY FOR ALL is a program that
gives you a delineation of a HAND without any prior knowledge of
palmistry. This is done by using multiple choice menus for you to
choose from. The process takes a while but there is no other way to
enter the information needed and this is the next best thing to a
personal hand reading.

          OPTIONAL: PRINTER FOR REGISTERED VERSION
          OPTIONAL: MS COMPATIBLE MOUSE

INSTALLATION:
Make a sub-directory on your hard drive and copy all the files
into it.
   Example:
At the drive prompt (for the C drive) .. C:>.. type MD\PALM
to make a sub-directory named PALM. Then type CD\PALM to get
INTO that sub-directory. Once in that directory type COPY
A:*.*/v with each of the program disks in the A drive and you are
     done installing the files.

When you want to run the program you type CD\PALM, if not in your
sub-directory, then type PALM.

If you have a Microsoft(TM) compatible mouse you HAVE to load the
mouse driver (software) that came with the mouse BEFORE running PALM
if you want to use the mouse. The mouse is only used for the first
and last modules, not for main module with 42 screens of choices.

The program is designed to run off a hard drive due to it's size
and disk read/write routines. If you DO use a 1.2 or 1.44 meg floppy
disk do not put the write protect tab on it.

   IMPORTANT:
The program does NOT check to see if there is enough space on the
hard drive for installation. Be SURE you have at least 1 meg of space
available on the hard drive before installing the program. With the
program files and creating an output file, it will need this much
space. It can create a file over 170K if all the options are choosen!

There are four modules to the program. The first one does a check
of the system and lets you run the full program or go directly to the
output module (fourth one) plus lets you display the documentation to
screen or printer. There are different screens that appear if the
system is not ready, including one for not having all the program files
in the program directory. If you choose OUTPUT from the first module the
first time thru the program, you will be given a message that THERE ARE
NO FILES. You have to run thru the input module (RUN choice) to CREATE
output files first! You would also be given this message if you made
space on the hard drive after deleting ALL the files you have made in
the past and went directly to the OUTPUT module afterwards because
there would be NO output files to display.

If you have a mouse software driver installed you will be given
a special screen asking whether you want to use the mouse. If it is
a Microsoft compatible mouse, you can hit (Y) or <ENTER> to use it and
continue, otherwise hit (N) and continue.

If you do not know if the mouse driver was installed, just choose NO
and use the keyboard keys for input. The mouse only works on the first
and third modules, not the second with all the CHOICES screens. Those
are selected with the keyboard. Leaving this mouse choice screen can be
aborted with the <ESC> key which is noted on the screen.

The program then checks to see if you have DOS 3.2 or greater and if
all the program files are in the directory. If these are not met the
program aborts.

If your printer is not on line you can still continue once you
start the program PALM but WITHOUT the mouse availability. The message
displayed lets you choose whether you want to quit or continue. You
CAN input and display to screen. If later you want to print the
output file, you could run the program (with printer ready) and choose
OUTPUT from the first menu screen. In the output, you can then print or
display to screen.

The FIRST menu screen offers you a few choices. Choose INSTRUCTIONS
and display the documentation to screen or printer.
