                   PLANETS IN THE HOUSES

Houses are twelve sections in the chart that are closely
associated with the symbolism of the twelve signs. The signs
indicate how certain energies are expressed, whereas the
houses show the areas in life where such expressions take
place. Unlike the tropical zodiac signs, the twelve Houses
vary in size depending on the house system, the birthplace
and time of birth. Houses are one of the most controversial
subjects in astrology as their basis is not as clear as the
signs, and simply due to the sheer number of house systems.
For this reason, interpretations based on houses may not be
as consistently sound as those based on the signs.
