This is a new installation of Astroscan 1.5.

It is recommended that you first use the REPORT
option in the Main Menu before any other, to make
sure that the path of the browser on your system
is a valid working copy. If not, you will need to
configure the correct path in the Preferences.

Astroscan has scanned your computer and found that
you have Netscape installed.

Select the Report option and OK in the Report Menu
and wait until the html report is fully loaded in
Netscape. If the colors do not appear correctly it
may be necessary to minimize Netscape and maximize
it. Another way is to turn off "Run in Browser"
mode in HTML Preferences. You will have to start
Netscape manually and load Report.html from the
Astroscan folder/directory.

NOTE: This is a new installation of Astroscan 1.5.
Astroscan scanned your computer and was not able
to locate either Netscape or MS Internet Explorer.
This means you will not be able to use the HTML
astro report generator until you install one of
these two browsers or some other one that uses the
same htnl language (v3.2).

It you have a browser installed then you will need
to configure its path in the Preference section.
After you have done this, do the following:

Select the Report option and OK in the Report Menu

        DISPLAYING REPORT IN WEB BROWSER

By default, Astroscan starts the web browser and
sends the astro html report to it automatically.
This may take a minute or more, depending on the
speed of the computer. If the browser does not
show up then press ALT & TAB keys to switch to
the Windows Browser environment. If colors are not
correct, minimize and maximize the browser window.

It's best to turn off the automatic browser mode
in the Preferences section under Browsers. The
option is "Run In Browser". With this mode off,
the user can press ALT & TAB to switch to Windows
and start the web browser manually. Then simply
load the Report (report.html) from the \ascan14
directory or folder. This also prevents multiple
browser windows.
