About Me
I started building scale models when I was 12 years old, that's since 1973. I started with WW II armor, otherwise known as tanks. I mostly built German ones. I started with Bandi 1/48 scale. At the time I thought that they were nice kits. I enjoyed building a tank from the inside out. Unfortunately, none of those made it through the years. I wish I had a couple left so I could see my changes over the years. I later changed to 1/35 scale and still prefer this scale.

When I hit about 16 years old, I started to build 1/48 scale WWII aircraft. I built quite a number of them. Never did collect all the ones I wanted. Since I don't have anymore, I'll have to start over. Aaaaaah, too bad!

I later branched into modern armor and modern aircraft, the F-16 being my favorite. Over the years my projects include sailing ships (1 and never again), figure painting, tanks, military vehicles, military aircraft (WW I, WW II, and modern), and Sci-Fi. I've won a number of awards over the years for my efforts. Some of them are in the Gallery.

This is the bench my father and I built. It consists of 3, 8 ft., 2 X 12s for the work area on top, 6, 2 X 4s cut to length for the legs, 4, 2 X 4s for the support braces on the bottom, and 4, 1 X 4s or the top braces.

It's a multipurpose bench. I build models on the left side and it is dedicated to that alone. However, the right side is used for many things; I paint models there, work on car parts, fix things from the house, or repair electronic equipment.
