COMMENTARIES ON THE UPCOMING ELECTORAL VOTES AND THE FUTURE OF SOCIAL SECURITY (TO CANDIDAT JOHN KERRY)
I understand that Social Security will be in great trouble in about twenty five years. The president and you want both to lessen public debt. The president wants to lessen it by reducing the public sector, you want to lessen it by increasing public revenue. However, the president and your excellence may fell short of their goals. Indeed, it is not at all sure that private health insurance companies will be able or may be willing to supplant Social Security when it will go bankrupted, and it is possible that an increase in public revenue may be accompanied or followed by an increase in the public sector that may lead to an increase in public debt. Can Social Security be saved withouth a burden on the private sector?
