Roger was joined by Laurie Walker for this event and TI Motorsport provided on event servicing. Laurie and Roger started their first event of the season with a cautious run around the race track at Chepstow before heading into the Forest of Dean.

The first stages prior to the service break went fairly uneventfully other than a small excursion onto the grass while trying to negotiate an uphill left hand hairpin.

In the service area it became apparent that the engine mounting bolts had stripped and a quick "bodge" was required prior to leaving service.

The pair were able to pick up the pace in the afternoon. There was a small incident on the 9th stage when a large rut on the inside of a '90 left' almost jumped the car into a deep ditch on the outside of the bend but the pair managed to keep the car on the road and get the car to the finish in 5th place in class N1.
