UPGRADE WIN 98 TO WIN 98 SE BY HAVING ONLY THE FULL VERSION OF WIN 98SE AND NOT THE UPGRADE.

You need:
-the Windows 98SE CD 
-the Windows 98SE Floppy Disk

Start computer with the win98SE startup floppy in floppy drive and Win98SE CD in CD or DVD rom.

Start with CD-ROM support.
at the A: prompt, type "C:" (to go to the hard drive)


Type “CD Windows” 
The prompt should now be “C:\Windows”
Type “Del Win.com”
Reboot (ctrl-alt-del)

At the A: prompt, type "D:" (if D is the CD or DVD rom in which the Win98SE CD is in)
The prompt should now be D:
Type "setup"

Setup will ask you whether you want to install to “C:\Windows.000” or “Other”
Select “Other” then click “Next”
Setup will want you to specify a location to install Windows 98SE 
Type in “C:\Windows” as the location
Continue through the Setup program.

You will not have to install any drivers since I am assuming that it was already install
before the installation of Win98SE.
