CHERRYVILLE HEARTSONGS ASKS FOR YOUR HELP

Cherryville Heartsongs has a very special mission and we need the help of like-minded individuals. We’re dedicated to preserving 50 acres of forest in the Mt. Hood foothills, and sharing the land with others. We are honored and indebted to Roger for his support and belief in our cause, as we follow his PCT sojourn. The miles he treks epitomize, in spirit and vista, the natural world and wildlife habitat we’re working to nurture.

With Roger’s blessing, we’d like to ask you to join him on a ‘virtual hike’ for part or all of his remaining miles, as a voice of support for both his and our endeavors. You can continue following Roger’s journey and virtually
be a part of the hike by your donation to Cherryville Heartsongs. 100% of the money we receive will be used in program development. Our first plans include creation of a nature trail, development of our retreat program, and putting the finishing touches on our retreat center.

We’re asking for any amount of support you feel moved to give; either a flat donation or a pledge of $1.00 per mile for any distance you choose. If you’re interested, we will add you to our mailing list, keeping you informed of our progress and involving you in some way as our program evolves.

As a special thank you, any of you who participate will receive a seedling (fir, hemlock or cedar) transplanted in your honor. These seedlings ensure continued forest health so generations that follow may enjoy the peace and tranquility of the natural world.

To protect, nurture and share a forested sanctuary and wildlife habitat wherein those who visit may discover the connectedness and interdependence between all elements of our earth. To offer the rapidly vanishing opportunity for people from all walks of life to enjoy the well-being that resonates from existing in harmony with nature, either in solitude or in the
intimacy of a small gathering.
