Though not a student, I wish good luck to you, Roger. I didn't become a conservative activist until I read "Shadow University" by A.C. Kors and H. Silverglate. Just hearing what's become of classical "liberal" education makes me ill. Indoctrination is now the order of the day. We need to shine some sunlight on this travesty.
The Cal States are little more than junk colleges where third-rate instructors go to die and students who have no business in higher education get a degree. Flame away, Staters, but I contend that Groundhog Day would have been a better picture if the protagonist had to get up to attend a commencement at, say, Cal State Dominguez Hills.
