What I do to pretend to be busy
THE MILL!!!
My family owns the Pataha Flour Mills, a huge old mill with all its equipment and everything. When we first started work on it, it didn't even have electricity!- but now it is a museum, gift shop, photo parlor, and restaurant. I am the Senior Waitress there, and have been so since 9th grade. My mom cooks, my dad does the dishes, my sisters waitress, and my brothers try to look busy while eating all the food! The restaurant really tests our faith because we don't charge for the meals, but let people give what the Lord leads them to. Since this is our main source of income, you can imagine how we have to really trust Him to provide! And he always does!!! The Mill also holds church services on Sunday and hosts special events, and you can stroll through the four floors to see all the original equipment intact and how it all worked!

THE ESPRESSO STAND
Across the highway is the family-run espresso stand, Holy Ground. GO COFFEE!!!!!!!!! (Can't you tell I'm from Washington? :-P) I work from 6 a.m. to noon (I get up before the chickens!!), and during the slow times I do my schoolwork, practicing, and other random stuff like building web pages. The people who stop by are usually friendly folk, and one of the perks of my job is that I get to yak with everyone who stops by!

I don't have any pictures of the stand yet because our stupid digital camera isn't working, but when I do, they will be here!!
When I'm not at the Mill or the espresso stand, I can usually be found teaching my music students, babysitting, playing for the elementary chorus, going to Spokane, playing with explosives, panning for gold, running into walls or chilling out at home.
Same for pics going along with this caption!
