| A wall-painting I did for a friend of mine in his house in Zeeland, The Netherlands. The reason why I portrayed a late 16th century Spanish officer is because he lives on the exact place where once the Dutch Fort of Saint John stood. Along the southern border of The Netherlands a lot of these forts were built to keep the catholic Spanish out of the protestant areas. |
