15th century - part 2
Henry Viscount Bourchier at the Battle of Northampton, July 10 1460, fighting for the Yorkist cause.
Richard III (younger brother to the late Edward IV and former Duke of Gloucester) was killed by the troops of the Lancastrian Henry Tudor, Earl of Richmond at the Battle of Bosworth, August 22 1485. After his death Yorkist resistance gradually faded under the rule of Henry VII Tudor (father of the famous Henry VIII). At the Battle of Stoke in 1487 the final death-blow was given to a rebellious Yorkist army.
