Goose Whirly Gig
This whirly gig was built during
the summer of 2000. As the wind turns the prop, the goose
flops it's wings. With every third rotation, air is forced
through by a piston through a built in goose call for an audible 'honk'.
At the exact moment of the honk, the goose's beak opens as if to sound
the call. Click on the picture of the goose to load an
animated view of the goose in motion.>
