Everyone knew her as Dora, March 1942, at 18 she left Texas to seek employment in Detroit's war time industry, where she worked for Ford Motor Co. for 12 yrs, she was one of the millions of "Rosie the Riveters", during that time she met my grandfather Jaun Rodriguez and had six children, who gave them six grandchildren and six great grand children.
My grandmother was a great person, had many interest such an exprt coupon clipper, where she met many friends, she also love a trip to the casions, in the area.
My grandmother spoke both english and spanish.
On Sept. 5th, 2003 she passed on, but since her passing most all her children and family have grown closer.
We all will truely miss her.
