What is IRC?

IRC stands for 'Internet Relay Chat'. This client lets people from all over the world to chat with each other. There are more than one network that one can connect to. To join our channel you need to set the network name to 'UnderNet'

Basic Commands:

+o :
This mode is used when someone sets another person an operator of a channel. This could be dangerous because if you set an person that you don't know as an operator that person can easily takeover your channel.

+v : This mode is used to give a 'voice' to the users. This is mostly used when a channel is set +m.

+i :
When the channel is set +i (//mode $chan +i) the only way to join the channel is to get invited from a channel operator.

+t : When a channel is set +t (//mode $chan +t), This means that only operators can set a topic for that channel.

+n : When a channel is set +n (//mode $chan +n), This means that only the people that are in the channel can talk in that channel. If example a channel is not set +n all users can chat in taht cahnnel without being in the channel. To talk without being in a channel if it is not set +n /msg <Channel Name> <message>.

+s / +p : These two modes can be set the two of them in the same time. You have a choice or set the channel +s or +p. This mode is used so if example you're on a channel that you don't want other to join if you set the channel +s or +p those people that or not in that channel when they /whois your nick they will not be able to see that channel listed with the others.

+m : This mode is used by operators so they can control their channel easier. When a channel is set +m only those people which are +o or +v can chat in that channel.

+r : When this command is set on a channel only those users logged to X (CService Bot) can join that channel.

+l : This is the mode to set the limit of a channel. If the limit is set to 60 (+l 60) only 60 people can join that channel. When there will be 60 people in the channel the users that try to join they will not be able to join [Channel is full].

+k : This mode is used to set a key for your channel. [* Only those people invited or those who know they key can join your channel].
