CEDARS OF LEBANON
1999

Upwards of 70 RKKA reenactors made their way to Cedars of Lebanon on 11 DEC 1999 to do battle against the Germans. To put it bluntly: We kicked their ass.

Red Army Squad at Cedars

The  Red Banner of the 8th Guards Mech
At left kneeling- Bob Raymond
(Bob's maxim is real folks!)
At left holding the banner is a young woman who Dan recruited THAT MORNING!!! Her Brother-in-law is in the above photo, back row, third from left (sorry I can't find their names just now!)
At right of the flag Comrade Guards Sr.Lt. Danislav Illyanovich Welchovik,
Commander of the 20th Guards Mechanized Brigade.

Red Army razvedchikii, all armed with PPsH-41s and a member from a NKVD Border Guards Regiment prepare for the battle.
The razvedckikii were cut off behind enemy lines for most of the morning, ambushing and killing a number of hitlerites until they finally fought their way back into Red Army lines.

A squad of dead SS wiped out by the razvedchikii. These guys were pretty good about the whole thing.

Guards Sergeant Don King and Guards Private Paul Mullins listen to the Operations Order just prior to deploying to the field.

More Pictures to come!

I only got seven photos taken (seems I was busy) if you got any send them in!
