| The 20th Guards Mechanized Brigade, commanded by Dan Welsh, acts as the HQs element of the 8th Guards Mechanized Corps. The 8th Guards is a Parent Reenacting Organization affiliated with the National Rifle Association. With over 100 members across the Central United States, the 8th Guards is the permier Red Army reenacting organization. The Headquarters Section fields the Corps Headquarters Command, the Corps Recon Platoon, and a full six gun battery of 82mm Mortars. In addition to several vehicles, the Corps fields a 45mm Anti-tank gun section, and several smaller mortars. |
