A WIND of change is blowing through the classrooms and playing fields of Harristown State girls school advantage High School.
After his first year in the job, principal Regan Neumann says the school is not high school math help the same as it was when oak hills high school ohio he took over.
Back then, it was making news for all the wrong reasons. A big school with 1500 students and 200 staff, it had a chequered reputation and a tired, run-down appearance. Continuity of leadership was also a problem: Mr Neumann was the fifth principal the year 12 students had had.
"We're in a different place now because we've consolidated on the basics and looked at school grant proposal memo what we aransas pass independent school district want to achieve in the future," the high-energy, no-nonsense alpena high school educator said.

"We're focusing on the small things to get the big picture right and we're at a point where we're taking off," Mr Neumann said.
"We've cleaned up the rubbish lying around, refurbished classrooms with new desks, painted inside and out and improved fighting tigers school eating and toilet areas."
Students are also required to stone middle school wear uniform properly. There's a new emphasis on handing in drafts of assignments and doing homework. And there's a spotlight on spelling bees, in every subject, every day.
Not one to sit indiana school closings in his office much, Mr Neumann is highly visible. He spends an hour a day with students, making unannounced visits to classrooms and socialising in the grounds.

He works 60 to 70 hours school for the deaf a week, constantly building closer relationships with staff, students and parents, and is involved in soccer, volleyball and debating.

Students we spoke to said it was all starting to pay off.
"I feel better about being here; everything is classical economic school on the way up," said one.
"The buildings look better and we've got a permanent principal. I'm more proud to be a japanese school girls Hawk."
For Mr Neumann, it's all about the kids.
