It depends.
In terms of evolutionary psychology men are designed to bond with women and
thereby they stay around and protect their subsequent offspring, this gave our
genes a better chance of survival.
In addition men are also predatory in that they can make other women pregnant
and simply hope the child grows up (without fraternal help) which will give the
man another chance of spreading his genes.

HOWEVER, Women are quite different.
They can have a very limited supply of offspring.
This means there are two primary concerns for women in mating.

1) Quality,...... gene quality.
They must be far more sure than men that their offspring have exceptional
abilities that will ensure their prosperity.
2) Bonding.
A women must bond with the childs father ensuring the child will be protected.

There are some women that simply cant hope for a decent man to bond with them,
as they dont have the necessary qulities.
There women try to make up for their lack of help from men banded to them by
becoming whores.
They give themselves to men sexually so although the women themselves have no
value, they hope their vaginas will be important enough to one of the men in
the tribe on any given day that the man will feed them.
Their children have a higher mortality rate (obviously without a man to
protect the child) but the women tries to make up for this by having many kids.

So.
For women there is indeed something wrong with having sex with a man that has
not invested himself emotionally in you.

You are then a slut.
And you have chosen a hard road to hoe.
