and still don't have any decent eq.  (Never hit a dt and almost 950 years old)

But it sure is a 'burden'. (to put lightly)

honestly i don't know if i deserve it im just another semi-new
avatar working and running whatever i can...which bothers me that i 
can't run for some of that stuff..but my world wouldn't collapse 
if i didnt get it,,also not gonna try and say i know you..cause i
dont and that'd just be useless spam =P
i do say that it sucks when anyone has to leave the mud..
the mud is one place i've found relaxation and the friends that i

Welp, I'm afraid I didn't have the chance to make your
acquaintance during my time here on realms so far. Which to
this date total about 3 years or so I would guess. Anyways, I'd 
like to say that I'm sorry you're leaving, that's one more person
that I don't get to know. But of course, real life demands do come
up, and that's understandable. Heh, actually good for you :) I 
can't seem to pull myself away from this game, I love it way too
much. I wasn't exactly good when I started, and turned out to be
a fairly slow learner. I missed out on alot of the good stuff that
could have gotten. But that's all in the past, I learn to make due
with the eq that I _have_ managed to get, and pretty proud of that
actually. Well, I seem to be rambling. Basically just wanted to say
goodbye and good luck, seeins how I won't have the chance to meet
you. As for the eq or whatever, sure I'd be overly happy to accept
it, and would take good care of it. But I'm sure you have somebody
you'd much rather give it to. :) Anyways, seeya on the flip-side

Many times I've considered leaving RoD as well but I really enjoy the game and

      This note may sound selfish, and it may very well be true
that I do not deserve it, however, I feel that it would be a very kind act
to provide me with at least one piece of your old eq.
I have been on the MUD for almost a year now in some form or another,
and have, when possible, always tried hard to help those who need help,
have provided countless DT victims with sets of eq, and have not always
been given the slightest bit of thanks from the recipient.
Helping others in such ways has often gotten in the way of leveling, questing
, running numerous mobs, and other acts that would be beneficial to myself,
and therefore my set of eq has not exactly thrived in the past year.
Aaaaanyway, I must make it clear, that I am not demanding anything, just
making a simple request, and I will not at all be upset or anything if I do not
receive anything.

you prob dont' know, or probably have never even seen me around..
honestly i dont' really even know you.  Im somewhat new here, though
have played for a year or so.  Im just a cleric that scrounges every 
thing i have.  My boyfriend got me playing this game some time ago.  We
both kinda quit playing, but im still around.  I never knew what it was
like to run the big mobs, deal the big damage, enjoy the game from the
mkill buff side...i spent 99% of my time talking chatting and making
friends.
 
I dont' wanna be the greedy give me give me person that you've probably
gotten a million notes from.  But from a unknown cleric with very little of
value to her name, any thing you might wanna pass on to me i would cherish.
I dont' knwo how long i'll play this game myself, but right now i enjoy wasting
my time here and would like to know what its like to be of more use on a run
other than holy sanc and healing the tank at mandor..hehe

Well. i know that most of the notes you'll be getting in regards to
your eq and such will be shameless attempts at getting buff eq.  I am
not saying that I dont want it.. because obviously I do.. i play here and
have for many years now approximately 4.  I worked hard all those years
to learn the realms and gain my own eq.  Well.. one fatal day I dt'd
4 years of work because of a typo and it almost made me leave this place.
I realized that i know too many ppl and have too many friends to leave
behind, as I am sure you do aswell.. I am always sorrie to see someone
leave the realms because it's always those who have been here for a long
time and who make this place great.  Sorrie to babble.  As for the eq.
Well first off I am really kinda looking for a present for my gf.  She
has always felt a little substandarad when it comes to eq and I think it
would be really great for her to have something pretty :).  And secondly
I am tired of all the folks out there asking for no less then yer soul
for clan eq and seth pops.  I'd like to maybe hand a few pieces to
deserving ppl and trade others for very cheap.. just to kinda let
the average mudder know what its like to feel buff.. dunno how admirable
you think my intentions.. but trust me it will go towards furthering many

am quite addicted to it now. My mother recently passed away, and I play
RoD as an escape from the harsh and sometimes cruel real-world. The
only happiness I experience is from getting more buff on RoD. I only
have 2 characters.. myself (a run-of-the-mill druid, equipped only
to help lowbies) and my pride and joy, a 106 dr thief which i've worked
my butt off to equip him. Anyways, I hope you have a great time away

I'm sure you're getting tons of mudmail about this, but here's my reason for
wanting your old eq.  I don't know if you remember me as Fenryll or as this
character, but I've been around for a while here.  Until last November, I'd
gotten pretty buff.  Then Stoney ported over La Chute and challenged everyone
to be the first to get a Mindsword.  Well, I tried, and fled into a dt.  Now,
I'm not whining about dt'ing, I was stupid and didn't true sight.  But, its
pretty disheartening to lose a set of old clan, including a new cuff, qp'd
kilt, qp'd uncert, and a 10 dam 80 hp doomie shard that I'd been workin on
for two years.  I've gotten back to some semblance of quality eq, but right
before this happened, I traded most of my spare clan for the uncert, so I
basically had no trading stock, and have less now.  So I don't see 
regaining that stuff happening without kind donations.  Which is why I'm
acting totally undignified and asking you for yers. *grin* I don't 
particularly want all of it.  I've never been a multiplayer, just had one
stron character.  So basically, I'd like to get back some portion of what I had
and work for the rest.  I don't like charity that much. ;)
Anyway, you're probably getting better reasons than this, but hey
I thought I'd try. By the way, I don't recognize Gloin, do I know you as

I don't know if I actually deserve your equipment more than anyone 
else but it would be a big help considering how much stuff has 
happened to me in the past few months. First my main was a warrior,
I had worked up to fairly buff but then I dted and lost a bunch of 
renames and the like, I had 50 glory on him so I was able to rebuild
slowly but then of course I lost my new eq in a crash, so I decided to 
change mains to maybe get a fresh start and the like. I chose to go
with a thief but after I had him eqed fairly well I got killed and 
disconnected and unfortunately no imms body bagged me. So I switched to
this vampire here and I suppose I am doing ok again but I could really
use some better eq seeing as none of my chars have str over 15 or a
dex high enough for me to possibly max. but these may be trivial problems
as compared to others so give it to whoever is most deserving and the like.

Hi Gloin, even though i didnt really know you, i am sorry to hear you
go. But i read your note, and since you are moving on to bigger and
better things, i would like to tell you that i would love some equiptment
as would many. But i feel i have gone through so much, trying to get things
and having peoplel laugh at my offers, laugh at my chars, its just sickening
to see and watch. I have a nice amount of characters and yet i cant get
invited to any of the "good" runs, or the imms leave me out when handing out
glory, even when i have been on the quest for hours. Its about the worst 
feelin to work so hard and to not have too much. I mean yes chars are nice,
but multy can be tedious and hard, and personally i dont like it. I think
that if i could catch just one break and get some nice stuff, that i could
have more fun, and just be respected a little bit more. I try and try and
still no cigar. So if you would be so kind as to help me out, then i would
apreciate it immensly.

I can honestly say that I think that myself or anyone actually
deserves anything they didn't earn themselves...Its just really 
nice to have, to show it off.  :)   I can say that I wouldn't mind
having eq like that, but i'm just as un-deserving of it as everyone
else is.  *sigh*    But this is the wrong way to go about getting 
anything, I could lie and tell a sob story, but i'm just not like
that.   Any way...sorry for wasting your time.   I wish you well

ring for close to a year now, as a gift for the most remarkable
person I have ever met. If you have such a ring, could you just
so much as tell me who you gave it to, so that I could offer them

hi i think that when looking back at the list of ppls that said thay will
never be back and oops are here again. you should keep your clan / pop
on a storage. give this to a good friend you can trust that _if_ you return
will give that char and EQ back . and hand only the less rare EQ.
just my thought after helping to reEQ retired ppls in the past
lotem.
