| Me: (checking deoderant isle again) Oh ok. Well where is this person? Him: What do you mean? Me: I mean what are the surroundings?? Him: Oh, she's on a couch and she looks really young and unhappy. She's kinda bloody and taped up. Me: Is the couch kinda tan colored? Him: Yeah. Me: Kinda ugly lookin?? Him: Well I don't know, I wasn't paying that much attention the girl was there. What a pervert. I'm not gonna make it home, I'm going to jail on this one. That's all there is to it folks. The couch in the picture is one in our apartment, but we don't have any blood stains on it. Not that I know of anyway. Me: So do you think the cops have tried to contact me? I'm going home like right now and I wanna get this straight before I go. Him: Yeah they should have called you by now. Don't drag this into your parents house, get it fixed. I shouldn't be telling you any of this, but you look like a nice good guy so I am. Me: Ok, thanks, I'm going to my apartment now. Ho boy. Him: Yeah, check your answering machine and remember, you didn't hear this from me. Me: Ok, thanks. First of all, DUH I'M NOT GONNA BRING THIS HOME WITH ME. I mean, who would be dumb enough to not fix this and go home only to have the state cops come to their parents house and arrest them?? I mean I know some of you are thinking of some people, but I'm not one of em!!! I then leave Rite Aid. I go to the apartment, trying to figure out what in the heck is going on. I don't. All I know is that I'm going to jail, going directly to jail. And I don't even know why yet. Soooo I get to the apartment, and in the door is a business card. The back of it is facing out and on it is written. "CALL ME ASAP." On the front of this card is a badge, and a name. We'll call him detective Kojak. Hooooo boy. I go inside and check the voice mail. There are five messages, two from mom, grreeeaatt, one from Detective Kojak, one from Rite Aid and one from the eye doctor. Don't ask about the last one, that's another story, a long long story. So anyway, message one from Mom says that a Detective Kojak called and what does he want and something about Rite Aid and lost pictures and she thinks its a scam cause why would a detective want to talk to me because of Rite Aid and lost pictures. Blah blablah blah blah blah blaaahhh. Then Kojak comes on, he tells me who he is. He tells me that he would like to speak to me right away about some pictures I've taken. He tells me how I can contact him. He tells me I should do so very quickly and that he has talked to my mother. The message from the guy at Rite Aid says that he found my pictures and that I should come in and pick them up. So what was the big deal with having me listen to the message, unless the S.W.A.T. Team is coming up the steps or through the window any second now. Then the second message from mom is that she called the detective and he is for real and I should go see him and I shouldn't screw around and she told me so and turn left and blah blah blah blah and call him right away and don't forget this and don't do that and what have I done and on and on and on and on for hours. I was screaming into the phone that I would call him but someone won't shutup so I can call. Finally, after hours and hours of blah blah, I can use the phone once again. I call detective Kojak. I get the dispatcher, so I ask to speak with Kojak, the guy tells me he is busy on the phone, can I call back in ten minutes. Yeah sure, fugitive on the run I got 10 minutes till I hit the border. So I wait 10 minutes and I call back. I get the dispatcher again, Him: Who may I ask is calling? Me: Jackson Knoll Him: Ohhhh ok, hold on. Me: *sigh* ho boy. Kojak: Jackson? Me: Yeah Kojak: this is Detective Kojak, it seems you have some very disturbing photos that I would like to hear you explain. Me: Oh really? Of what? Kojak: Well there is this girl tied up in duct tape, she looks really young and unhappy. There is also a picture of a hole. Me: Well I do work for Arch Services, so that is what the hole is, but I don't know what is going on with this girl, can I see the pictures? Kojak: Yes, come on down, I'll be here for another hour or so. Me: (as if I didn't know) Where is the police station anyway? He tells me where it is and I tell him I'll be right there on my bike. I walk into the cop shop. I pick up the black phone to talk to the person behind the bullet proof glass. Me: May I speak with Detective Kojak? Her: Yes, who are you? Me: Jackson Knoll Her: Oh ok, he'll be right out. Me: Great. |
