Think about the following questions before you begin the checklist that follows: Have you been a good student? Average?   Below average?  What are your strongest subjects?  Weakest?  Do you like a very   competitive atmosphere or a more relaxed one?  What extra-curricular or co-curricular activities are important to you? Fraternity and sorority life?  winning athletic programs? religious activities? Do you want to be near family and   friends or venture afar? How far is "far"? Is weather of concern to   you? Do you want to stay in the South? Do you want a small or a large   college? And many more questions that are raised in the test material later   in this guide.

Now take a minute to check off the five statements in the following   self-audit that most accurately describe your top five reasons for going to   college.
