On target I got 7 lesser winds and 11 greater winds. I made this plan before I did this max and I updated it a long time after I was done. It is possible I've forgotten to include something. This plan is as is, although if anyone can point out errors I will correct it. It should be noted that the final results of this plan will vary slighly due to the randomness of the # of levels losts per death. M.S.O.T 300 M.S.D.S 350 M.S.M.T 300 M.I.ST 300 M.I.SC 300 (You can do something other than scroll if you want, just stick to whatever you do) M.P TO 100 Die until you have lost at least 10 levels such that other m.i.subs are 0. (Just take enough deaths to at least lose 10 levels no more.) Hopefully it will only require 1 or 2 at most. ___Remax M.S.O.T 300 M.S.D.S 350 M.S.M.T 300 M.I.ST 300 M.I.SC 300 ___ M.I.P & M.I.ROD & M.I.WAND should be 0 now. M.I to 300 Die until you lose enough levels to at least bring M.Spells to 0. Notes: 1) After each death here readavance M.I to 300. 2) Ideally you would want to lose EXACTLY 100 levels such that M.S.M and M.S.D are 0. This is unlikely to happen. 2) Losing More than 100 levels will hurt your final msdt and msmt by 1 level per level you exceed 100. 3) As long as you lose at least enough to get spells to 0 (88 levels as near as i can calculate.) it will not affect your final items or your msds or msmt. 4) Your final target should be in the range of 537 to 543 depending on how close you get to 100 without exceeding it. Exceeding 100 will not affect your target skill. 5) DO NOT ADVANCE ANYTHING UNDER SPELLS TO TRY TO FIX MISTAKES AT THIS POINT. THEY ARE UNFIXABLE! Make sure M.I is 300, M.P is 0, and M.Spells are 0. If this is not the case then you have problems. Note: At this point you had better have elude if you wanna be able to cast any spells. M.I.SUBSKILLS TO 300 MAGIC TO 300 M.S.OF TO 300 (M.S.O.T should be 450ish now (mud tends to round it down a couple I think). M.S to 300 M.S.D TO 350 M.S.M TO 300 Note: It is possible that raising M.S.M to 300 will bring the other subs under misc to 300 by itself. (Theoretically it does, but mud rounding could make this change.) If this is the case it is probably worthwhile to only bring m.s.m to where msma is only 299. Then you would advance the other subs to get the mud to get msm to reaverage. This should result in a significant final level boost for a point or 2 in msmt. Max the rest in any order. Final Calculated Skills (best possible). (I make no attempt to figure out the muds integer math that accurately so things may be off a little.) Magic 406 M.Spells 369 MSOT 534 to 543 depending on deaths MSOA 343 MSDS 583 MSMT 500 to 483 depending on deaths MSDT 300 MI 548 MISTAFF 656 MISCROLL 656 As you can see this is significantly better than a normal sorc reduce max. Yes, taking deaths past the point where msm goes to 0 will reduce your final msmt. If you lost just enough to bring msm to 0 then the final theoretical numbers would be 539target, 583msds, 500msmt, and 96% reduce. I think this is the best comprimise since if your maxxing for reduce you might as well have a really good enchant also. (Also I just don't think its worth losing an additional 17 levels for 4 levels in target.) Note: As you have noticed I didn't quite make these theoretical results. Its impossible to die an exact # of levels so the final results depend somewhat on luck. I don't think this plan has any major errors. If someone sees some feel free to point them out. I just thought someone might be curious as to what the "best" that can be done is... It has been some time since I maxxed this, but I think I followed this plan fairly closely. ---------------------- Here is the covert max i used if anyones curious. Before the last few deaths that you die intentionally (and maybe earlier) advance c.stealth to max c.hiding to max Now when you die covert will be high enough to fully clean out cov.thieving and allow a perfect overmax. Covert raises your level a lot so keep this in mind.
