Minor update, a blog, gambit to major up date 2. queen take rook e7

O.k,

So in my last blog i wrote that I thought it would be the last blog I'd ever write, well I was wrong, I'm writing one more. This one. As I remember in that predecessor to others I wrote about my Page to Stage performance. Well it’s fitting that this should be on that same subject.

To start a story where it should be started, at the beginning. We’re currently using a hand in schedule at uni where two units of work are handed in at the end of the first 6 weeks of the semester and the other 3 at the end (the skills carrying over the whole semester). Whilst on the positive side it forces us to work harder, giving us less time, focusing us more. It has the unforseen concquence of all this is that marking is still set to the 12 week system (possibly because of uni rules?) . This of course make it seem an age to get our results back it was it seems cobined also with some other problems. All in all this would have been quite annoying, but was make more so by the fact we were told repetedly that our maks would be with us next week, allways the next week.

Finaly on Tuesday we got most of our marks back. Myself a 1st in Creation and Realisation (w00t), a 2/1 in Page to Stage (3 marks off a 1st), 2/1 lanuages of theatre and 2/2 com.

Me thinks i’m on the right course!

The extract of Crave we performed include the line from A

A young girl, her entire existance given meaning and ponderence in the thirty second’s she fled from her village, skin melting, mouth open.

Now I mentioned this line in my report and how it comments is seperate from the line before and after and so is a way of underlining what has just been said.

Something that Diane pointed this out as a comment in her marking

“Do you reconise the image refered to a famous photograph from the vietnam war of a naplam attack?

Upon reading this this image came to mind that I had quite forgotten about when praticing and performance of the piece.

I
can't help but wonder how differently I would have delivered this line if i’d remembered it at the time and what it would have added to my report.

There Endith The Blog
