We are a small home based kennel located in a small dairy town in central California. We have a large fenced backyard. The dogs are allowed free acess to the house and backyard, and are never kenneled unless one is in season or needs special care. Our dogs are not really dogs but members of our family.
We got out first dachshund 3 years ago as a rescue, she was such as sweet natured little girl that we fell in love. We decided we had to have another, and then....... you know "dachshunds are like potato chips you can't stop with just one". We did much research on the breed and decided that we would like to show and breed. This began our quest for the best dogs we could find so we could start a good breeding program.
We have adopted our babies from across theUnited States to try to get pedigrees and dogs that compliment each other and that meet the AKC standard.
We have started Skye our long hair black/tan dapple in the show ring just this month. We hope to put Rocky, Cassie and Heidi in the ring when they are old enough. We have also started agility with Molly. She is doing well. We enjoys the activities with our dogs and encourage all of our puppy buyers to get active with their dogs.
We offer a written 1 year health guarentee against genetic diseases and 14 days against contagious diseases ie, parvo distemper. Intestinal parasites are not considered a contagious disease and is not a reason for return of a puppy.
All puppies go to their new homes up to date on shots and wormings. They also go with a puppy pack, which includes health records, a 5 generation pedigree, a blanket and toy, and an information packet and coupon for a bag of food, and their litter registration application.
We are always willing to help our puppies new family with any questions they might have.
