| General Information: Rocky Island Parkway opened it's gate on June 10th, 2005. It offers both dirt and grass racing for Arabian and Standardbred breeds on a mile dirt and mile and a half turf track. Races take place the 2nd or 3rd week of each month, April thru November and can accommodate up to 10 horses. Races are then split via age/sex/owner depending on entrants. The track is located right on the coast a strong breeze commonly blows through bringing fog, rain and snow as well as sun. *Please note is a FANTASY racing game and open to EXPRESS members ONLY. |
| Track Rules: Steward: Heather Tripp, 409 Crescent Street #2; Fall River, MA 02720 Email: rockyislandpark@gmailcom *All horses must be registered with the Express to race at Rocky Island Parkway. Horses may race with pending registrations for six months. *Entries are due by 8am the day of the race. *Email and Postal entries are accepted and free. I can accept .rtf, .txt, .doc attachments as well as entries in the body of an email. If sending via snail mail, you must include a SASE with enough postage to cover sending your cards and results back to you. *Please limit your entries to 3 horses per undercard races and 2 horses total per stakes. *We do not allow walkovers at RIP. No race will be run with less then 2 entries. If a race has fewer than 2 entries, it will be combined with a suitable race, or be cancelled. *Please be sure to include family and pedigree notes. Trainer notes strongly encouraged. * Foxhaven-bred horses are welcome to race at Rocky Island. * CLIFF NOTES ARE NOW A MUST AT THIS TRACK.. * Please note that this is a fantasy game open only to Express members and there is NO cash/money awards or betting. |
