Wow! It was a great opening day here at RIP. I have a new found respect for all those stewards out there that have been doing this for years. It’s A LOT of work! But I had a great time and there was a wonderful turnout with some very tough competition.  I learned how to streamline my job, so next time I should get the results out a bit quicker. Again I want to thank everyone for coming. If you see errors, please tell me as this is my first meet and I am still learning. There was an incredible roster of horses here today and its been a joy to host this. The weather was typical for New England. We have a saying here.. “If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes.” Because indeed, the weather can whip up a change that fast.

I did have a few horses that were entered into the wrong races, some were too old or young, one was a pacer in a trot race.. Please be careful when assigning the races. Also, please make sure to send your entries to the rockyislandpark email, not f0xhaven.  My F0xhaven mail is VERY cluttered and things get lost. I did catch a few that sent it to that address in time, but they might not always be so lucky!
